Job Summary:
The Sanitation Department Lead’s primary objective is to oversee and lead the sanitation team in effectively cleaning and sanitizing plant equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Train employees on job requirements, hazards, and continued process improvement
- Disassemble all machines
- Clean and sanitize processing facility and equipment; including, but not limited to, scrubbing, wiping, foaming, and rinsing equipment
- Reassemble machines and prepare for USDA inspection
- Follow cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Drive and operate scissor lift when needed
- Operation of CIP (clean in place) systems
- Track chemical inventory

Job Summary:
The Production Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for managing the production quality control procedures throughout all production farms. Perform regulatory required tests, internal inspection and audits, and animal welfare observations during production events, document, and review production records to ensure that operations are meeting all regulatory requirements and animal welfare standards. Works with Farm Manager and Handling Specialist Supervisors in event of a deviation or discrepancy.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Maintain Production FDA SE Program and AI Monitoring Program, includes performing tests, paperwork review and record keeping.
- Perform animal welfare observations during flock events and communicate the results with supervisor accordingly.
- Carry out, manage, and document reporting requirements.
- Work with QA Manager to ensure all production process and products follow regulation requirements, customer specification and 3rd party audit standards.
- Perform monthly farm inspection and monitoring checks.
- Inspect and calibrate monitoring equipment.
- Maintain accuracy in all records.

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all processing equipment, tools, and utensils to USDA standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Disassemble all machines to prepare to clean and sanitize
- Clean and sanitize processing facility and equipment including, but not limited to scrubbing, wiping, foaming, and rinsing equipment
- Verify all equipment is sanitized to USDA standards
- Follow cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for executing the overall quality control procedures throughout the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Follow Food Safety/Food Quality Program, Food Security, Good Manufacturing Practices
- Perform a pre-operational check of the processing plant prior to production
- Evaluate various attributes of eggs by sampling them and document results. Communicate findings to Supervisor if results fall below an acceptable standard
- Work with Resident USDA Inspectors to ensure all processes and finished goods are in compliance
- Observe all stages of packaging to ensure eggs are properly packaged, labeled and loaded and that counts are correct for each customer order
- Carry out and document non-conformances and corrective actions
- Perform receiving inspection on incoming goods
- Inspect and calibrate monitoring equipment
- Maintain accuracy in all records
- Perform product food safety/quality related lab testing and be observant of supplies and notify Shift Supervisor if supplies are low

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team at our distribution plant. The Forklift Operator is responsible for unloading all incoming loads and loading all outgoing loads at the distribution plant.
Responsibilities:
- Load all outgoing finished goods to meet customer specifications
- Unload all incoming eggs as needed into the high rise or cooler
- Move eggs as needed from the cooler into the high rise
- Load clean materials as needed to supply our farms and contract growers
- Unload raw materials into dry storage as needed
- Move trailers around the plant with the yard dog
- Verify that paperwork matches incoming and outgoing loads and meets quality standards
- Validate pallet counts are correct
- Verify pallets are correct as they are entered into the system
- Follow instructions as directed by lead on RFID related issues
- Verify the condition of the pallets before moving them into the high rise
- Keep work area clean, follow GMP, and wear appropriate PPE
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.

Liquid Load Out Operator
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Liquid Load Out Operator to join our team at our distribution plant. The Liquid Load Out Operator performs a variety of tasks to ensure eggs are transferred safely, accurately, and in an efficient manner to provide a quality product.
Responsibilities:
- Performing the necessary procedures to safely transfer egg from an egg silo to a liquid egg tanker. (Cleaning parts, parts installation, connecting hoses.)
- Maintaining load out bay and breaker room cleanliness during shift
- Following the daily plan, being aware of the egg type that is currently being processed, and an understanding of quantity goals for specific orders.
- Safely moving liquid egg tankers in and out of the load out bay as needed using a yard jockey or semi-truck.
- Properly filling out necessary paperwork.
- Coordinating and assisting delivery drivers with accurately hooking up to the right tankers and ensuring that they receive and sign the correct paperwork according to their assigned order.

Grader Operator/Processing
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grader Operator to join our team at our distribution plant. The Grader Operator is responsible for palletizing, denesting, and the flow of product from entry into denesting through plant and out the cooler door.
Starting and ending times may vary.
Responsibilities:
- Work in multiple stations between different processing equipment
- Manually load egg flats onto conveyor, packing eggs in boxes
- Loading boxes and/or cartons into equipment, stacking boxes on pallets
- Moving finished product into cooler, utilizing forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks
- Candling eggs, inspecting eggs
- Removing inedible egg from collecting containers and discarding via cable/tubing system
- Wash egg storing equipment, keep work areas clean
- Ensure denester team is aware and prepared when product type is changing
- Monitor issues with the grader machines
- Verify egg size; ensure eggs are getting the appropriate packaging
- Serve as liaison with quality team
- Print labels for pelletizing
- Work closely with USDA representative
- Perform other duties as assigned
