Forsman Farms has grown deep roots in our community over the 100+ years we have been in business. We know that our reputation takes years to build and we cultivate it by being good stewards of the land we farm, the birds in our care and the people we employ.
TRADITION SINCE 1918
Forsman Farms started In 1918 when Albert Forsman started farming 120 acres and selling chicks from his flock. Today, Peter and Dave Forsman run the day-to-day operations.
TODAY
Today, we have millions of hens under our care. We sell over 3 million eggs per day in the form of shell and liquid egg to some of the nation’s largest retailers.
Peter and David Forsman run the day-to-day operation with guidance (and an occasional scolding) from their father, Gary.

For over 100 years we have lived where we farm. As a fourth generation family farm we aren’t just making decisions for the next month or the next year, but for the next generation. What we do today reverberates for well into the future. That is why our farm is a certified Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality farm, and that is why we restore wetlands and continue to farm with the land.
